Selale Restaurant

Excellent food and beautiful restaurant. The mix meze and fresh orange juice were unreal. Our meal was topped off with the amazing service we received from Ahmet. We only needed to lift our heads away from our plates and he was there making sure we was happy. The complimentary Turkish tea and baklava at the end was the cherry on top. Can’t wait to go back!

Door-to-door kindness and service, just like being hosted by a Turkish family. The warm and competent service started right at the entrance, and there was never a “no” to any of my requests. I ordered the Turkish breakfast, which is world-famous and often rated as the best breakfast in the world. I truly enjoyed the traditional spread with sucuk, olives, different kinds of cheese, börek, and more — and of course, unlimited Turkish tea. I can highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience genuine Turkish hospitality and delicious food. Great job, guys

The food was simply amazing! We got both of the large platters and it served 12 people (kids and adults). The flavors were delicious. 10 out of 10 recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at this Turkish restaurant. The platter we ordered was presented beautifully, and flavourful. The meats were tender and juicy, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is also very lovely. I came here before for the İskender Kebab - I highly recommend that too.

Selale Restaurant delivers top standards on every level. The Turkish food is consistently on another level — always fresh, flavourful, and perfectly prepared. My favourite dishes are the Yogurtlu Adana and Ali Nazik, and the lamb shish is always cooked to perfection on the grill. The service is excellent, with staff paying close attention to every detail and looking after each table with real care. Even when the place gets super busy (which is often!), the team still manages to deliver great service without missing a beat. I’ve been coming here for the last 10 years, and it remains my favourite Turkish restaurant on Green Lanes. Highly recommended.

5 stars isn’t enough! What truly makes this restaurant special is the people. Nuri and Sinan are absolute gems - so friendly, warm, and genuinely caring. They made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. Their energy, kindness, and attention to detail turned a simple meal into such a memorable experience. Everything was spot on! You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in the way they treat their guests. Thank you Nuri and Sinan for making our night unforgettable. Places like this are rare - highly, highly recommended!

Upon entering till leaving Selale the customer service has just been exceptional, the servers are friendly, warm and welcoming. The Selale special platter was delicious and enjoyable. The only thing I found strange was the price of the chips and soft drinks, very high in price for something that was not exclusive nor special. However that would not stop me from coming back haha. At the end of our dinner me and my family were served Turkish tea and baklava on the house and the baklava was just delectable! Absolutely tasty it was. I would recommend this place, family friendly, kid friendly and a relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for your exceptional service Selale.
